How it works:

The PIR is wireless battery powered with a built-in transmitter which when triggered it sends a signal to a receiver which is connected to the alarm inputs on the DVR / NVR which is setup to notify your smart phone enabling you to log in and view the intruder unlike a lot of PIR's the Optex is very stable and will not detect pets, bright sunlight, shrubs.
